Located in Ungaran in Central Java, Balemong Resort is nestled within a tropical garden and features a charming blend of traditional Javanese and Ducth-inspired decor. It also offers a restaurant, an outdoor pool and free WiFi access in public areas.

The hotel is about 30-minutes drive from Semarang City centre, and about 21-minute drive to the Great Mosque of Central Java and about 23-minute drive away to the famous historic site of Lawang Sewu and about 31 minutes by car to the nearest historical Gedongsongo Temple. Ahmad Yani International Airport is around 24 minutes by car.

Very Good
Many facility that you can enjoy witb your family, like cycling, swimming, and the playground for kids. During breakfast, there was a traditional performance that my father enjoy so much. The last, we can enjoy mount ungaran very clear from this hotel.
My room is a bit small. The second room that I booked for my parents are not cleaned enough, we found some of ants in electric cattle and the floor is dusty

Authentic style
a beautifully landscaped garden in which several villas in authentic Javanese style are located. The lobby, restaurant and living areas contain many artefacts and old furniture. there is a quiet relaxed atmosphere. the view to adjacent rice fields is very beautiful.
the pool was closed for maintenance work. fully understand that this is occasionally necessary, but very disappointing that this was not mentioned by the hotel managers when the stay was booked. this is misleading and even unfair. Moreover, it would be useful that at least someone could speak English as a second language, at the reception and in the restaurant. this could improve significantly the communication and could avoid misunderstandings for foreign guests.
